The side hustle is - he access your telstra account orders phones, has you send him the phone, he "sells the phone" then he is supposed to send you a small percentage of the sale, he then asks telstra to cancel the contract and claims he will pay the phone outright.

There are so many redflags about this scam.

- He orders a $2,500 phone from Telstra in your name, you get the phone, you then have to pay to ship it to him (your out $20.00 just there) he then will sell the phone for likely $1,500.00-$1,700.00

- He will then claim to send you back $700.00 -

- He will then log back into your telstra account and ask to cancel the contract Telstra will do this and they will generate a invoice for the full phone price $2,500 + any disconnection fees,

- He does this because they cannot block the IMEI then as the phone isn't on a contract and the person he sold the phone too won't get a bricked device and won't come after him.

- He claims he will pay the invoice off but never will and the screenshot he showed me of him ordering like 5 phones $2,500 x 5 = 12,500 in debt to telstra & You've lost money on shipping

There is no real way for this to not be a scam, he is selling the phones at a loss, but paying the full retail invoice for you? comon bruh.
