TheKapCo x Snoopy x Epomaker x Weikav

  • Keyboard: Epomaker P87 (not listed on their site anymore)
  • Numpad: Weikav Stars 21
  • Switches: Wisteria Purple Linear
  • Keycaps: TheKapCo Snoopy Keycaps

Love the look and feel of TheKapCo Snoopy Keycaps. They are double-shot PBT with a nice matte texture. Very thocky with the Wisteria Linear switches. A little too loud for the office so this has become my home keyboard. The Weikav Stars 21 is a perfect match for the Epomaker P87 as the length of the numberpad matches near perfectly the length of the keyboard. I did have to put slightly larger rubber feet on the bottom of the numberpad to make the height and angle perfectly match the keyboard. Super fun, super cool cap set, but not everything is labeled very well. But I know where Ctrl, Alt, Page Up/Dn, etc. keys are so it works for me.

Any flight attendants on here? I have a serious question.

Have you ever set a passengers IFE to “Kids Mode” because they were being an unruly assHole? Just wondering… 😬

Is it just me, or does it seem unreasonable to require prime contractors to validate their subsidiaries without giving them access to a searchable database? At a minimum, there should be a simple lookup function in SPRS that allows them to confirm that a UID provided by a subcontractor is valid and correctly associated with that organization. And this concludes my TED talk.

  • Case: Keychron Q6 Ultra (stock)
  • Switches: Keychron Silk POM Brown
  • Keycaps: TheKapCo Peanuts x Urban Japan

Just swapped out the stock caps on a Keychron Q6 with these keycaps from TheKapCo. The keycap set is a combination of PC and PBT caps. The letter and numpad numbers are all a red translucent poly carbonate. Everything else is PBT. I really like the feel and design of the PBT keys. They have kind of a dusty chalky look and they are even more thocky than the stock doubleshot PBT caps from Keychron. The letters and numpad numbers are a translucent PC that I honestly don't care for. They are a little clacky and feel cheaper than the PBT switches.

The keycaps come in a cherry profile which is a lot flatter than the stock KSA profile caps that came with the keyboard. I do like the lower profile and an added benefit is that the knob on the keyboard is actually usable now. I'm not hitting print screen or F12 every time I want to adjust the volume.

My only gripe other than the PC caps is that my set was missing the close bracket key. I'm borrowing the only spare R3 key (home) that came with the set. I've reached out to TheKapCo for the replacement keycap, We'll see if they fix it. Not a big deal if they don't, as I plan to replace all the translucent PC kaps as soon as I can find some cherry profile PBT caps that can kinda match the rest of the keys.
