Man, finding friends and dating is hard. Idk maybe I was cuter when I was younger or something. No one seems to want to put forth real effort in getting to know someone else. Not even on the friend level. Whole lot of rudeness flying around too. Where are the happy people at?? I've met and hung out with four people from here now, just not much common ground. Fun experiences, looking for more of them.

I'm a single 40 year old looking for connection. I am settled with my own car and place. Have no ex drama and no kid drama. I work full time, have health insurance, a hair stylist, a dentist, a doctor, a therapist and a good relationship with my parents. Well, mostly. I mean my parents say they don't have a favorite, but they use my sister's birthday for their passwords.

I like my life but it feels empty sometimes. I'm past the age of having kids. It's very okay if you do. The older the better, my dog gets nervous around toddlers. I think it's their high voices. She's been that way since she was a puppy.

I love animals, dogs especially! I love amusement parks, swimming, dancing (years of training when I was a tyke), roller skating, drawing, playing RPGs and watching movies. I love a good potato and anything covered in cheese.

I'm in Peoria and I'd love to make a friend (maybe more) to have random lunches or dinners with. Maybe see a movie or comedy show together. Hopefully you're within an hour or two and we can meet up.
