Chances of getting glaucoma after refractive surgery
Hello,
I plan to undergo a refractive surgery procedure (probably SMILE PRO). My cornea is about 590 um, after the surgery it will be a bit mroe than 500 um. I am myopic -3.75 spherical with -1 cylinder.
I want to ask if there are any people around here that developed glaucoma years after doing LASIK.
From what I read, refractive surgery affects the cornea hysteresis and together to having a thinner cornea and being myopic are more risk factors to getting glaucoma later in life.
