This community became too toxic imo

Maybe it's just me not being clear or maybe it's common here on linux and im just new to the Linux space but it seems yall afraid of criticisms or mentioning there's a good feature on other wms

A bunch of the comments disregard my post and my comments and just joining on the hate train, mfs don't even criticized my suggestions and just hatin, my post is not even a feature request and mfs acting like im ruining their setup

The last time I used niri subreddit is been helpful with my problems and stuff, but now it became more toxic and uncomfortable

Why I can't stick with Niri (yet)

Niri is cool and all, light on system and smooth, but after testing hyprland or mangowc, niri isn't enough for me, at least for now:

  • No rounding_power for rounded corners (idk it makes apps look premium lol)
  • No horizontal workspace alternative workflow (I use horizontal bar)
  • No blur (yet)

I think they should implement alternative workflow, horizontal workspace workflow should make sense because you use super key and keyboard numbers which is horizontal too

my current hyprland setup:

what do you guys think?
