New to Launchpad and I’m planning to use it on an Ableton live set which currently have existing MIDI CC mappings (device/macro controls as well as clip launch). I noticed that on launchpad Session mode, the navigation buttons and scene launcher buttons on the launchpad are doing something unexpected. Checked with MIDI Monitor and they are sending MIDI CCs (for scene launch buttons… 19, 29, 39, etc). So that sort of explains it.
So my question is, (1) is my setup likely correct and CCs are to be expected from these buttons vs the notes that are sent from the clip buttons and (2)for live sets needing triggering of MIDI CCs in addition to just clip/scene launcher buttons, is it just avoiding usng these fixed CCs being sent from launchpad?
