Built a logistics platform to solve WhatsApp + spreadsheet chaos for a real courier company now looking for industry-connected partners

A courier company in the Caribbean was drowning in WhatsApp messages, spreadsheets, package photos, customer follow-ups, and manual tracking.

So we built them an internal platform.

What started as a custom tool for Suzy from SU Prime Services became something much bigger.

The system is now running daily in production and basically became the operational backbone of the company.

That validated something pretty quickly:

A LOT of courier and freight forwarding businesses are still operating in complete chaos.

WhatsApp everywhere.
Spreadsheet overload.
No centralized tracking.
No real workflow visibility.

We turned that into a platform called cargio.app

Now we’re looking for people who already know the logistics/courier industry and would be interested in helping us expand it in exchange for a revenue share / commission structure.

Not looking for employees.
More like:

  • industry-connected people
  • independent sales partners
  • operators who understand the pain firsthand
  • people with relationships in logistics/courier businesses

Especially interested in:

  • Caribbean
  • LATAM
  • freight forwarding
  • ecommerce logistics
  • courier operations

The interesting part is this wasn’t built from theory.

It came directly from solving operational chaos inside a real courier company already using it every day.

If this sounds interesting, send me a DM.

How would a model like this generally be viewed from a FinCEN/MSB perspective?

I’m researching a prepaid card liquidity model and trying to understand how regulators would likely view it from a U.S. fintech / payments perspective.

The platform would:

  • directly purchase prepaid open-loop cards (Visa/Mastercard gift cards, rebates, rewards cards, etc.) from verified users
  • apply discounts based on internal risk and liquidity factors
  • hold payouts for a short verification period to reduce fraud / chargeback exposure
  • not facilitate peer-to-peer transfers between users
  • not allow stored balances, withdrawals, remittances, or transfers between accounts

The model is closer to a direct buyer / secondary market purchaser than a wallet or money transmission platform.

I’m curious how people in fintech/compliance think FinCEN and state regulators would likely interpret something like this:

  • money transmission / MSB territory?
  • high-risk commerce/payment processing?
  • gift card resale business?
  • something else entirely?

Mainly interested in industry interpretation and practical regulatory intuition from people who’ve worked in payments, compliance, sponsor banking, or prepaid.

Not looking for legal advice just trying to understand how this type of model is commonly viewed in practice.

Do high-risk merchant providers work with non-US companies?

I'm building an early-stage fintech startup in the prepaid card space and currently validating the business model.

The parent company is legally incorporated in the Dominican Republic. We're exploring high-risk merchant/payment processing options for a compliant prepaid card marketplace workflow.

Most providers I find seem focused on US-based entities. Are there merchant providers or acquiring partners that work with overseas companies, particularly from LATAM, or is a US entity generally required?

Would also appreciate any guidance on providers that are more open to early-stage fintechs operating internationally.

I’m building a platform that lets people sell unused prepaid & gift cards instead of letting them expire

A few months ago I noticed how many people have:

* prepaid Visa/Mastercard cards

* rebate cards

* incentive cards

* gift cards with leftover balances

…that they never fully use because:

* online payments fail

* weird restrictions

* tiny remaining balances

* or they simply forget about them

So I started building cardcept.com

The idea is simple:

Instead of dealing with marketplaces, listings, or random buyers, users can submit eligible cards directly through the platform.

The team reviews:

* ownership

* balance

* legitimacy

* eligibility

And if approved, the user gets paid.

We’re currently in validation/waitlist phase and testing demand before scaling further.

Would genuinely love feedback from founders, marketers, or anyone who has dealt with prepaid/gift card pain points before.

What do you think about the concept?

Where can I find small English-speaking UGC creators/influencers?

I’m looking for small creators (5k–100k followers) that make authentic TikTok-style UGC videos.

Mainly US/Canada/UK audiences.

Budget is around $50–$100/video.

Looking for creators with good engagement and natural talking-head style content.

Any platforms, subreddits, or creator recommendations

  • comfortable making talking-head/product review videos

Budget is around $50–$100 per video depending on quality and reach.

I’m especially looking for creators that fit well with a mainstream North American audience.

Does anyone know good places/subreddits/platforms to find them, or have creator recommendations/handles?

Thanks.
