How is growing up in this section of the Amu Darya River, the part that straddles the border of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan?
I was zooming around google maps in Central Asia looking at what is left of the Aral Sea, and noticed this very thick green region leading up to it with settlements on both sides of the border. Does everyone speak the same language here? is it bilingual? what ethnic groups are there? I saw in some photos restaurants with heat pumps and TV, so *somebody* with internet must know!
