Help…!!!! Registration of vehicle that sat for 15 years.
Bought a car that sat for 15 years from a passed person. Person also passed about 15 years ago. So, literally payed a random person for the car and registration papers.
Since it was still in the name of the passed person, is it possible to get this car registered in my name ? Living in BC Canada.
Do have a transfer form but it says on the form I have to go to icbc within 10 days of purchasing the car. But the transfer form is dated 2011. So I am passed the ten days . Or actually even more than 10 years.
Does anyone have any idea what to do in my situation.
Car is a non-runner, but classic Mercedes and don’t feel like pumping money into it without knowing I can get it in my name and on the road again.
