I’m a musician who gigs regularly and I’ve been using the EV ZLX 12” G2. Recently I downsized to the ZLX 8” G2 for portability, but I’m missing the deeper low end.

For those who gig with keyboards/live music, what brand and model do you think gives the best combination of:
- deep, punchy bass
- crystal clear highs
- overall full sound for live gigs

I’m looking at brands like RCF, Yamaha, Electro-Voice, JBL, and QSC.

Budget is around $900 max for a powered speaker.

I’m currently deciding between taking a plea deal for criminal threats (strike, 6 months jail time, suspended sentence ) been fighting this case for 5 years and ready for it to be over. Should I accept that deal or risk trial and prison time is 2-4 years w/ same strike?
