Stripped, gonna chop, drying time!
I've loved her, so sad I have to kill her. Breaks my heart. I literally cry when I do. It's time my baby!

So just wanted to start a thread about things we've learned as growers on our way to excellence. I'll start the thread, nothing special, but helpful, hopefully.
First: I have Method Seven grow glasses. As a result of growing, I've suffered from damage to my sight because my stupid ass was not vigilant enough to realize that I should be wearing appropriate eye protection. Got myself some method 7 glasses to help, but I'd be doing my thing, get stoned, put my glasses down, couldn't find them again, said fuck it, and continued. Decided to solve the problem by buying glasses straps, attach to the ends of the glasses, like an old school librarian wears. Then even if I take them off they just hang on my neck. Stoned as I want to be and still know where they are when I need them
Second: To all of us growers who use bamboo, wood, plastic stakes early in the grow to help support large colas when that shit gets heavy, put ping pong ball's on the end of each stake, that way when you get in close, you don't gouge your face or blind yourself as you head in (if you're not wearing eye protection due to the light).
Got some more, let's see what others have to share?
Third: (couldn't wait). So you know how it's almost impossible to get your temp/humidity sensor at "canopy height" as it constantly adjusts because that shit just keeps getting higher? I finally came up with a solution. Use one of those iphone camera tripods with the magnet for the phone to attach to. Then get your temp/humidity sensor and put a stick on magnet to it (if it doesn't already, most do), attach to the magnetic tripod and raise and lower it as needed as your babies grow. God send!
Fourth: Directly related to above!! You now how they say "this sensor can't be in direct sunlight or it'll read inaccurately and so should be shaded". Cheap ass solution, get a toothpick, make a layered tin foil hat and use tape to attach it to the toothpick (on the top) then stick the bottom of the toothpick to the side of the sensor shielding it from the light. (pro tip: keeps your plants protected from aliens, just fucking with ya).
Fifth: One more before I get too stoned. Stretch tape people! That stuff you buy to repair rips in hiking clothes, snow pants, etc. It's wildly sticky, can be cut, stretches and where does that old ass tent rip, you know it! The fucking seams around the zip edges. This shit is golden, just stick it around the seams (or any other tears in the tent, light gaps, lung room, comes in black/blocks light) and you got a season or two left before another investment!
I brought 4 of the above mentioned sensors, allowed them to acclimate to the same environment, next to each other on the fridge and this is their variance, I'm impressed.
Check the article. If it applies to all crops, shouldn't it also apply to weed?

The most important excerpt:
Plants depend on carbon dioxide to perform photosynthesis — but that doesn’t mean they grow better when there’s more carbon in the air, scientists say. A sweeping survey of changes among 32 compounds in 43 crops found that nearly every plant that humans eat is harmed by rising CO2 levels.”
