Love Wonders of Sodor as a long time Thomas fan but my WORD they need to tweak Percy's breaking
I pre-ordered the game and played it since release and had a blast going through the stories and I've slowly been working on getting the rest of the activities done after a two week trip. I just tried doing Percy's shunting challenge and have the better part of thirty minutes I was all set to get the last designated car. I had started Percy up as I had done with every other part of the rather tedious shunting challenge and he was only going around 12 miles an hour. Despite that, apply the breaks did NOTHING. He just kept going, breaks sparking all the way to the end of the map where a buffer was, hit the buffer at what I assume was the same speed (or ten, heck if I know), and crashed, undoing ALL my hard work. Needless to say I wasn't happy as I had started to break where there would have been more than enough time to stop.
I know each engine has their own breaking capabilities but my WORD did they need to make Percy's THAT bad? I'm not asking to stop on a dime, but I've noticed his breaking is atrocious, would it be too much to ask that they tighten it a bit to not be that bad?
