Hi all,

I have a roll of film halfway through, stuck in my camera.

Halfway through the roll it stopped working and now displays an error screen when I press the film rewind button to get the film out.

I have been trying for the last 20 minutes to try and get the film out in a dark bag, but it won’t budge. When I gently pull on the side of the film that is spooled onto the winder, it won’t move. It moves fine in the direction to wind the film onto the roll.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I could un-jam it or get the film out without breaking the camera?

I have included a picture of another point and shoot to try and explain the problem visually.

It’s a student of mine’s film and she was hoping to dev it tomorrow…

Any ideas?
