I made Drum Rack Generator, a M4L device that instantly generates full Drum Racks from your favorite sample packs (w/ Ableton Move/Note preset conversion)!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to share a Max for Live device I made called Drum Rack Generator that I think is really useful. It a device that lets you drag and drop sample folders, categorizes all the samples, and then generates infinite Drum Rack presets from them.

There's also a button that converts the entire Drum Rack to a Move/Note compatible format.

Here’s a YouTube demonstration for anyone interested: https://youtu.be/qpTcMtd-SN0?si=B6Dq7YTdQm9nj1Wi

Main Features:

- Drag and drop your favorite sample packs: Easily drag sample folders from Finder or Explorer into the drop zone. No limit on the number of sample packs or number of samples that can be added.
- Instantly generate infinite 4x4 Drum Rack Presets: After adding sample packs, click one button to create a full Drum Rack. (C1-D#2 pads)
-Automatic sample categorization: All added samples are categorized using filename keyword matching and checking the sample length to prevent the inclusion of loops.
- Fully customizable sample categorization: Edit existing categorization settings to fit your sample packs or create completely new sample categories.
- Individual drum pad controls: Choose the sample category for a pad, lock that pad to prevent it from being changed by further rerolls, and reroll the pad's sample to focus on quickly finding a sample for that particular pad.
-Ableton Move/Note preset conversion: One click button to convert Drum Rack into an Ableton Move/Note compatible preset, ready to export.
-Push controls: Use Push controls to quickly build Drum Racks completely on your Push.

Requirements:
Ableton Live 12.4+
