Ok. After going “full business” yesterday, I felt I needed to find an outfit that was more “me”.

It’s getting nicer up here in the Great White North. It is, however, still largely coated with white. So light pants are getting more possible, but still needed a sweater. And, ideally, I’d just wear sandals with this, but I kinda like the pop of weird colour in the shoes.

So, in this weird alternate reality where I’m actually modelling for actual photographers (on a small, unpaid scale… but still really fun!)… I’ve ended up with a photoshoot next week. I was just told to come “looking like you’re heading to a downtown business meeting”…

And this is what I put together!

It’s not my usual style but I kinda like it.

The photographer has asked me to bring my natural curls, but I kinda like the straight. But she DOES want the lower cut top that’s in the straight hair pictures… lol. And I’m fine with that! I’ve been nurturing my girls for a couple years now, and have no issues showing off the progress!

What do you think? Keep the look for the file, or nah?

(And yes, I’m pretty sure I’m allowed to post the pics when they’re all done… which I will do! There WILL be lots of pickles! And that entertains me a lot! Bahahahaha)

I was just walking to my car from the drug store. A guy approached me, told me that I looked great and fit and obviously did a lot of hiking. That he was a hiker too and asked if he could give me his number!

I feel so bad!

I just started laughing!

I haven’t been approached by anyone like that in decades (if ever tbh). I’ve been married for 26 years, so this all struck me as hilarious. And, never in a million years, did I think anyone would be interested in me after I started my transition… so I laughed at the whole situation.

I covered up by apologizing and telling him that I have been married for decades. But it was still nice, if not unbelievably surprising!

Just thought I’d share some weird euphoria…
