I have essentially screwed myself. I entered a housing contract at Penn State without reading the fine print, thinking if I needed to, I could cancel it before June 1. In doing so, I signed a contract at the Universty Gate Apartments across from my campus due to an issue with the group I was supposed to house with.

I reached out to housing and they said my reasoning wasn't a valid reason and that they weren't going to terminate my contract. I quite literally cannot afford both of these things at the same time. I checked the University Gates website for cancellations there and found nothing because the website is, putting it lightly, pretty awful.

I guess my question to wrap this up is what do I even do about this?
