Finished "The Poison Daughter" and It felt very overhyped??
Okay i NEED to talk about this idk why. The poison daughter by Sheila Masteron had a great plot..but the romance disappointed me.
I don't rlly have spoilers in this post but it could throw people off from reading it so beware.
The ending?!? AMAZING! No notes and i was truly happy in the ending.
But WHY was it so lustful??? Literally all of henry's POVs (until the last 20%) were "oh her cleavage and her body i just want to take her to bed"
I mean come on? I felt disappointed that it seemed to be all he cared about. Maybe i'm picky but i want YEARNINGGG i want LOVEEE. Especially when romance is meant to be one of the main plot points yk???
Idk maybe im overthinking it but tik tok really hyped this up for me and im disappointed by booktok YET AGAIN!
