Launched a couple of apps, which together got around 100 users in all. App ideas based on problems I faced, students in my school faced, and things just for fun. Despite not getting many users, I learnt a lot from the experience of actually creating an app myself, which helped me improve further.

Created a local initiative to teach students about technology for free because a lot of places near me overprice their classes, which are often low-quality courses. 200+ students in the program

Board position in the math club.

Created a club in school related to entrepreneurship.

Part of FBLA and I went to states.

Part of Stanford Pre-Collegiate Program

Part of the LaunchX Program

Summer Internship for a tech job at a startup (unpaid)

Competed in many hackathons, though not winning any

Published research on an AI topic

Good teacher recs

Travel Soccer 3 years in a local team

Concerns: No crazy competitions or programs

My essays are about how, despite not being a major winner in competitions, I have always put my best foot forward, learning from my mistakes instead of looking back at them with anger. Basically, my ideal in life is to learn, then build things with that information, and finally live life happily, which is why I am always smiling and joking. (In my opinion, my essays will be strong)

I am currently in 9th grade, going into 10th, and I have been researching different programs to possibly participate in, but I am having a hard time deciding whether they will be worth my time and money.
Everywhere I look, there are mixed opinions: some say it is worth the money, while others say it was just a money grab. I was thinking about applying to
- LaunchX
- Ladder internships
- I have been accepted into Stanford Pre-Collegiate Program for game design
If anyone could tell me if any of these programs would be worth my money, it would be a great help. Thank you for your time.
