Which tire size for 24 mm internal rim width
I have a canyon grail with DT Swiss Gravel LN wheel set (hooked) with 24 mm internal width. I want to buy Continentals GP 5000 in the clincher version and I am debating between 30 and 32 mm tire width.
I am tending to the 30 mm but I am wondering whether the 24 mm rim width would not be too wide, compromising the tire grip too much.
This is still within the Continental recommendation:
https://www.continental-tires.com/tire-knowledge/tire-rim-combinations-etrto-standards/
DT Swiss states this combination as "possible", the 32 mms would be as "recommended".
Any experience with these combinations?
