We had a wonderful family (39M, 40F, 4F) non-ski trip to Chamonix last week. The views everywhere were breathtaking. Loved every bit of our stay. Picked up a lot of great tips from this subreddit. Here was our itinerary for families with young ones.
Day 1 : Montenvers - Mer de Glace & Les Planards.
Day 2 : Aiguille du midi & small hike to Le Paradis Des Praz.
Day 3 : Day trip to Annecy
Day 4 : Parc de Merlet, hiked up from Les Bossons, hiked down to Les Houches
Our little one loved the luge and tobbogan at the Planards, hike to the Paradis des praz and Parc de Merlet. Made little snowmen at Plan de l'Aiguille. She absolutely loved the place and didn't want the trip to end.
We used our Carte d'hôte to travel free on the Mont-Blanc express everyday. Shout out to Couloir Chamonix for delicious sandwiches, Yak for yummy Nepali food & The Dainty Pizza for amazing pizzas.
We will be back.
