I am moving with my husband who has a job offer in Paris. I plan on applying for VLS-TS Visa. I have enough retirement income to qualify, but will not be able to work in France. I am writing a novel which I hope to have published and adapted for stage. In the States I also work as an actor. I am in my 60s.

My immigration « plan » is to get into France as easily as possible and navigate the nuances of aligning my goals with French immigration law once I am there. I have considered other Visa pathways but am banking on being able to make amendments as my circumstances change. We do not want to leave France. We want to become citizens eventually.

I’d greatly appreciate any observations or suggestions you might have.
