It is so frustrating to think about my messaging privacy and long term usage being dependant upon my country's phone number. I know it has it own reasons for authentication and bot verification. But if only this app has a phone number independant feature, I'll be out on a mass marketing campaign to onboard people onto this service. Are there any discussions or future plans to remove phone number requirement from this app. It would greatly help me with my concerns about complete privacy and anonymity.

I recently met a friend on reddit. She turned out to be a scorp. I don't understand one thing with her. When we talk she's all so bubbly and happy and giddy. But when I saw anything even slightly she just cuts off. Like the other day she was telling me something and I just joked that she is just being stupid. She was like "I'm stupid?", "thanks for the great chat, bye". Like wth. But then later when similar thing happened I felt like this was not something she's doing intentionally. but, wtv, I just want to know how to handle this cause I'm always on the tip of my toes talking with her. Maybe I'll ask her myself, but that doesn't seem to be a good idea. Over to you, guys and gals.

Edit:- I'm reading all the comments and I feel so deeply felt with all the scorpios that I wonder how am I even a taurus. It's also not like any duality that I feel. Just feels like I'm a scorpio. And yes, I've checked. I'm a strong taurus.
