Return To Work mandatory coming for all Mayo Clinic Employees

Just was shared with mid level management that all staff, clinical, admin, and billing will have return to office mandatory. No matter where you live. This will go into effect on May 1st. It will be shared by email with all managers on Monday the 27th and all staff the following day. This applies to all remote workers of Mayo Clinic.

If you decide not to return to work, you can stay in your position BUT you cannot be promoted or transferred to any other position at Mayo and your salary will be stagnant. All new position listed after May 1st will be fully in office or hybrid with at least 2 days in office at one of the three campuses.

This is going to cause so many issues. I’m sharing here because I think it’s ridiculous they are only giving 4 days head up to employees. I would bring it up to your teams and figure out how you will be affected.
