I’ve been messing around with small castings and copper has been pretty manageable so far

but every time I switch to silver I run into issues — porosity, rough texture, just less consistent overall

didn’t really change much in my process so I’m kinda confused what’s actually causing it

do people usually tweak temps/process a lot between metals or is this just part of the learning curve
