Alexa lying about features
Ever since they updated Alexa it's been acting weird but it now lies about the limits of its capabilities like chat gpt will do.
I asked if alexa could set a chime instead of an alarm which it enthusiastically said it could do instead of an alarm. When the time hit though the normal alarm went off. I asked why and it said it didn't actually have a chime and that it should have explained itself better that it's a just a gentler sounding alarm.
It is the normal alarm.
It goes on to say it set a "gentler alarm" if I would like. I gave the okay and to set it for 1 minute from now. One minute later the same alarm at the same volume went off that I've heard since I bought it.
Really strange that it would do this and clear what ever ai mode they're now using in these devices isn't working.
