Aspiring mech engg masters abroad,

First of all, I am a tier 3 college student (2024) passed out, as a mech engg from south india, dreamed of doing my masters in IIT, I prepared for GATE and appeared in my 4th yr, but results didn’t turned up well I dropped another year went for coaching in Hyderabad, but still didn’t able to clear, after a sincere efforts for 9 months, then I turned towards IT (did a software testing course), and got a job for less salary, it is said that within 2 yrs, I can get good salary in IT, but my mind keep on thinking about doing masters abroad (more particularly in japan), but whether this decision to move abroad a wise one with the current market for mech engg, because

1. I don't know the job market in japan

2. It is a complete new place for me (language I am willing to learn)

3. Will I have scope after 10 years (2+8) in india from japan to settle

4. Will my decision be regretful for moving away from my family

All my thought was to make my inner self happy who put his efforts wholeheartedly in GATE prep but still not able to crack the exam, dejected,

Now one door is there, whether to open it is on my hands, whether to open it or not???
