currently work as a first year staff doing IA and ICFR/sox/c-sox work at a midsize firm. will have written my CFE by end of this year (i'm in canada). will still need about 1.5 years of PER left until designated.

if i do the CISA exams, can i use that to leverage into an IT audit job at a big 4? i wont really have any IT audit experience, so I won't have the designation yet, just would have finished the exams.

i don't think i would qualify for a senior position (which I see are the only ones being hired on an experience hire). would i have to aim for campus roles (which also means applying during the traditional recruit periods)?

had an itch to go down memory lane and stumbled upon this episode of Ready or Not. In this episode, Amanda gets a bra because a boy touched her and complimented her "body" through a dare. The kids then tease her because of it.

The teacher didn't do anything to help or discipline the other students. idk if it's just how things were back then, but I really feel like this wouldn't fly these days? Isn't this sexual harassment, both from the boy and her classmates? Shouldn't the teacher have jumped in? I felt like it was especially odd that the teacher still made her do her presentation, despite being teased like that... If i was the teacher, i'd be a more empathetic about something like that.

Oh and the comment from her dad telling her that her wearing a bra was a big day for her... I'm sure its not intentionally supposed to be creepy, but I also feel like that's also not something that would fly - at least not in my family?

was this normal back then?
