People who get upset their dog does exactly what it was bred to do

I get loving your dog and thinking your dog will adjust to your lifestyle but PLEASE stop buying dogs that don’t fit your lifestyle and then getting mad they do what they’re bred to do

Stop buying hunting dogs and getting mad they hunt

Stop buying herding dogs and get mad they try to herd

Stop getting racing dogs and get mad they have energy

Stop buying search and rescue breeds and getting mad they need something to do and search for or they become bored

Stop buying guard dogs and getting mad they try to guard

Stop buying lounge dogs and getting mad they won’t be active with you

And for the love of god stop fucking buying big breeds and locking them 24/7 in apartments without getting walked then getting mad they destroy your home

And stop buying any breed and not socializing them to people and other animals properly then getting mad when you do take them out on walks they tug the leash and bark at anything that moves

Listed my looms for sale, I’m heartbroken 😭😭😭

Just needed a place to vent

I own 2 looms and just listed them both for sale, I’ve honestly been putting it off for weeks but I knew i couldn’t keep pushing it back anymore 😭😭😭

One is a 24” Ashford rigid heddle and the other is a cute vintage 15” Leclerc Nilec I bought as my first loom

I didn’t want to sell them but I’m due to give birth in 3 weeks and I got laid off back in January so I don’t have a choice, I pushed it off for so long but I gave in because I bought the Ashford loom on impulse when I knew I shouldn’t have 😭😭😭

I was really, really dumb and bought it a few months ago out of impulse because I got awarded $800 for a fashion scholarship and since I don’t have classes this semester they said I could use the funds for whatever I wanted. I decided to use a bit of that money for a new loom so I could make cute baby blankets and even weave some fabric to sew into dresses and sweaters since the Leclerc is much smaller and I can’t make much with it (I also knew I needed to sell it since I hadn’t used it in almost a year and needed the space since I don’t technically need two looms)

Now that I’m due to give birth so soon I don’t have much funds in my savings anymore and will need to find a way to supplement my SDI payments

Ugggh, I know this is needed and once I get back on my feet I can buy myself another loom once I save up money for it but I’m so heartbroken since I don’t want to give them up 😭😭😭, I just got the Ashford and have been wanting it for YEARS and the Leclerc is my first ever loom so I’m emotional about letting her go

I even have some handspun yarn I had made specifically to weave into a baby blanket and now I’m gonna have to save it until I can get a new loom or give it away to someone at school who’ll use it, and that’s not even touching up on the fact that I may have to also sell my spinning wheel 😭😭😭
