When I try to put together a research station, the multiblock assembler says that there are no problems but the research station is not deserting the multiblock. I have tried automatically placing the structure as well as copying from neu. Any help is appreciated
I was thinking about his curse where he can't set foot on land and sort of went off on some tangents.
So we know he is cursed to be unable to set foot on land but once every 10 years yet he is seen standing in buckets on a beach. This game me some thoughts.
Would Jones be able to swim in a swimming pool on land? If not why not? Could it need to be salt water to count as allowed? If so, what concentration must the salt be? Could he have a single grain of salt he threw into the pool before jumping in? Or does there have to be a certain amount of salt per cubic metre? Unless it has to be ocean water, in which case what happens if it rains whilst he is still in his bucket? Rain water surely cannot count as sea water as then all water would be ok for him. If it did, jones seems to always be a bit wet so could that count as mixing sea water and non sea water into one mixture and allow him to go to the pool?
Could you also not consider his boots to be mini buckets? We can assume that he could be barefoot in those buckets if he wanted to, so what differentiates buckets from small, boot shaped leather buckets with laces? If he filled his boots with water why couldn't he just walk on land.
How do we define where land ends and sea starts? Does it take the high tide line? If so then he could simply walk on the land a few metres from the sea. If we take the low tide line then he could still be standing in head deep water but be breaking the rules of the curse.
Also rivers, if he starts to walk up a river, when does the river change from sea to not sea?
What if jones was in a plane? If he can go onto a boat he can clearly enter vehicles and not be stepping foot on land. Does this apply to planes? If you got jones into an seaplane would it just not take off? If he was on an aircraft carrier would he be able to board one of the jets and then take off or would it run off the end of the runway and crash into the sea? At some point he is still flying the plane. What happens if a plane carrying jones runs out of fuel over land? Does it just keep flying because if it lands that surely violates the curse. Could said plane even fly over land? He's not on land, he's in the air. The curse said not on land. It did not say only in the ocean.
