Anyone know what the deal is with Search today?
It seems like a big disruption, haven't been able to really load anything all day. No outreach update from the office though.

The current regime is doing alot of horrible stuff, but just one is that if you get a Notice of Allowance and then after you pay the fees and end up needing to file and RCE for some new IDS, you're still paying the full amount but examiners are no longer given time to properly review your case. If the examiner sends out another NOA they are given 1 hr of credit. So no all your money is being sucked up by management so that they can waste it on a new rental agreement in Montana or so Squires can hold an NFL draft party with swag for his friends. You are not getting the same review and consideration you used to and you're still paying full price. And this system now incentivizes examiners to maybe make that 112(b) or objection that they were on the fence about or noticed after allowance. So maybe complain to the office about getting ripped off.

I haven't seen any update on our lawsuit is months. I don't see any updates from POPA regarding anything else. It feels pretty hopeless at this shit job now. I have been job hunting for months, but I must be a shitty candidate from being at the office for too long. Anyone have any news? Or hope?
It's the small things that let you know they don't care. And the big things that let you know they don't care. And pretty much everything they've done that let you know they don't care.
Anyone having situations where classification challenges are messing with your timeliness?
Has anyone ever dropped down a grade from 13 to 12 or 12 to 11? I'd be way more successful and less stressed if I could just reduce my required production. They've taken away the autonomy and appeal of continuing to increase in gs or go for signatory authority with the scrutiny of the "Streamline" review. I don't have any interest in doing any more production than the minimum required by pap. I know it's allowed under OPM guidelines but not sure if anyone has done it at the USPTO.
