For the love of God why is this car such a walking issue?
I bought this car at 72k miles - mazda maintained 1 owner.
4k miles in i had a p0401 error code. I instantly thought its the egr decarbon issue.
Garage thought the same. They did the egr and manifold clean and a dpf clean too. Ok.
Then the stuttering didnt go away as it was misfiring badly. 2 injectors came back faulty - ok. Sorted and copper washers also installed.
Then on a long drive it gave underboost error code - garage said the turbo actuator and solenoid was gone. Ok got that fixed.
Car now ran fine - but again after motorway ride it gave a thud when coming down to 40mph and lost power. Now the error code is p0101 - MAF / air flow issue.
Garage said they did a smoke test earlier so not an air leak.. i am lost what the hell could the issue now be? It went from no issues at all to this. I did drive it 500miles with broken exhaust pressure sensor / pipe as I didnt know it was gone at the time, however this was long time back and was fixed. That exhaust pressure sensor pipe was also flushed this tine during decarbon work.
Garage said it could be a camshaft issue?? I cant wrap my head round it ..canshaft would normally cause misfiring all the time .. it ran beautifully until the thud when coming down from motorway to lower speeds and gave the error code p0101.
I am losing hope and MONEY on this ... any help or guidance please. The garage said they are calling a specialist soon.. but i am losing hope on this crappy car now. I loved it and now i feel sh*t to even have bought it.
