Let's do an art exhibition (large post containing art made by everyone on this sub) to get young people (r/limbuscompany or somewhere else like r/projectmoon or even another finger sub) more interested in the arts!

here is my proposal: people comment art on this post (as well as adding extra details about the art like wish to add like it's name and genre and anything else) and then we have 1 person make a reddit post then on that reddit post they introduce themselves as a traveling exhibition from r/TheRingSyndicate and have all the art in the post with the person who made the art's user name school and rank within the ring next to the art they made and the name of the art and stuff
(something like that we can work out the details later)

we also need to declare someone the exhibition host (aka the person to make the post) I volunteer u/Furrylilhamster seems like something they'd be down for considering their whole thing is collecting art.

IN WHICH U/TIGMAS258 DISCUSSES HIS PERCEIVED IMPORTANCE OF CAPITALIZATION IN REGARDS TO IT'S IMPORTANCE TO THINGS UNIQUE TO THE CITY AND INQUIRES IF A SIMILAR FORM OF EMPHASIS IS DONE IN THE ORIGINAL KOREAN TEXT OR THE TRANSLATED JAPANESE TEXT.

EDIT: HE COULD ALSO BE TERMINALLY STUPID AND ILLITERATE.

Abnormality, Light, Star, Office, Syndicate, Finger, Relic, Wing, Head, Way, Vengeance, Prescript.
what do all these words have in common? they are all normal ass words that Project Moon decides to capitalize in the story to establish them as important concepts and distinguish them from their non proper counter parts (I'm not talking about the wings of a bird but the Wing as in the mega corps that rule everything)

I'm surprised when I don't hear hear people talk about when we get "new capitalized words that will probably be important later" for example in C8 when Jia Qiu mentioned "Way" in his debate with hong Lu my monkey brain went went hold up that is capital W Way what does that mean sir Jia Qiu you mysterious ass Chinese man and I took a mental note.

marked spoilers below for the new BB heath Uptie Story.

>!When I saw "Labor" as in Heath wasn't just talking abut being something really hard but a !<

>!capital L Labor my mind was racing as to what that could mean. (possible referring to 12  !<

>!labors of Hercules furthering the Finger mythology connection?) !<

a bunch of imporant stuff seems to be named after a word that already exists and that probably goes back to this something Gebura said in Ruina

"The language used in the Backstreets is often simple and straightforward.

They pick common words found in everyday life. They don’t bother making up special terminology."

But anyway that leads to my next question and it's a question about how Korean works. do they capitalize the same words in Korean? actually wait is it possible can you capitalize words in Hangul? If not do they add emphasis in a different way or do they just not and this is a choice of the English translation team? What about Japanese?

(PS there are also alot of there are also alot of X's of X that are capitalized... like the Book of Vengeance and the Ten Blades of the East)

New student and former Sous Chef of the 4th great chef with a question: What does Ring think of the culinary arts?

I used to work under one of the 8 great chefs in the Streets of Flavor until the incident where the Eight Chef all ate each other it was indeed a banquet of legendary proportion and I have never quite tasted flavor profiles so diverse. But it left my master as nothing but a stew and left my job in a questionable position. To clear my head and give myself some time to think about what to do next I deceived to go to see the Fauvist exhibition that I heard was in town. I used to only only have passing interest in the arts but man after seeing that show man I was hooked. I wanted in. Plus my old boss had just eaten themself alive anyway so thought it was good as time as any for a career change.

Now I speak to you as a new Fauvist student of the Ring,
My studies have been going quite well I've chosen the "Shark" as my animal because they are some of the fiercest apex predators around and always have their noses primed for sniffing out fresh meat.

(Also I wanted to share the Docent who graded my first work gave it a A-! and I'm really proud of myself she said it was one of the better one's she'd seen as of late you couldn't tell with the shark head around my face but I was blushing big time hearing her complement it. she said my technique wasn't bad but could still use some work but she admired the creativity and passion for art clearly present in the composition)

But that leads to my question...
I would argue the meals I cooked were my "Art" I spent a lot time trying new things and experimenting, looking high quality meat then preparing, and working on my presentation.

But I ain't see no one in the Ring talkn' jack about the culinary arts and it makes me real sad-like! Borrowed a textbook from a new buddy of mine that had all the schools in it and looked it over front to back 2 not a peep about the culinary arts!
I had hoped someone here could tell me a bit more here are the culinary arts really not accepted in the Ring? Is eating human flesh taboo even here? Or are the culinary arts just unexplored?
(PS: You guys should take a chance and take a tour to the Streets of Flavor tell and tell me what you think! Even with the great chefs gone there are still tons of good bistros and restaurants to try!)

🔥 Hot ▲ 199 r/Project_Moon

People have made Subreddits for each one of the Fingers.

r/TheThumbSyndicate

r/Indexsyndicate

r/Themiddlesyndicate

r/TheRingSyndicate

r/thepinkysyndicate

basically people are roleplaying on them as members of each of the different fingers

The most popular ones as of now are the Middle and Index

But I've also seen some cool stuff for the Ring where people are just posting actual art.
