My thoughts as a man who is not a fan of Ethel Cain who attended a show tonight

I am the tall, bearded black dude you might have seen with his girl at the show in New Orleans. first night.

I have never really listened to Ethel. Outside of a few listens with my gf, I’m not tapped in, at all. The most I know is vietnam-nam-nam.

I was fucking blown away. I understand why you all are so devoted to her. That was an experience I won’t soon forget.

It was so well done, the vibes were immaculate. The stage was immersive and felt like how the music sounds, if that makes sense. Seeing her in person felt for lack of a better term, magical.

Watching yall sing along, seeing Ethel completely control the stage. Being welcomed and smiled at while enjoying the show. I didn’t feel excluded. Every one was so nice. I felt loved.

I felt like I was invited to enjoy this part of your lives.

It was amazing. I feel blessed to have experience this.

To share this night with my love and seeing her happy and excited when the first note of a track would drop? That in itself had me invested.

Ethel, this was a great introduction to you. Consider me a fan. I’m going thru the discography.
