For people who live in the pit/queue up for a show, how do you prep?
I have an upcoming show that is GA only. I've unfortunately not had the best luck with them and end up overheated 99% of the time, but I know a lot of it is lack of prep. I purchased some things in hopes of helping me for my next show in a GA-only venue (electrolytes, glucose, cooling towel, fan), but even with those tools, I know how you nurture your body leading up to it and day-of show goes a long way. Besides loads of water, what food should I have (both leading up to it and day-of), how much, and when is the best time to eat day-of the event? Is there anything else in my kit that I'm missing that'll help me out? I really do not want to deny myself from seeing artists I love just because a venue is GA and I may have to line up hours prior to get a decent spot. Thanks!
