Posting on a throwaway acc just in case..... I don't even know where to start with this as Im in shock. It seems my employer wouldn't authorize me taking Paid Family Leave and declared that I abandoned my job when I had informed verbally and written that I would be returning In April from maternity leave. They were also informed by the company dealing with my PFL what my return date was and they decided to declare it job abandonment in February. I 10000000% do not want to try and work with a shady company like that again. My question is: do I have a case? Please also let me know if Im posting it wrong etc.
