My brother-in-law just got cheated on. When his ex moved out she abandoned her 14 year old bulldog. BIL didn't feel capable of taking care of her with everything going on, so my partner and I have a new family member.

Her name is Bonnie, and she already has the nicknames Old Girl and Crusty. She cannot get on the bed by herself and will bark until she can snuggle and she already has a favorite blanket. She's a very good girl and I want to keep her as comfortable and loved as I can in her golden years.
