I already saw some WIS edits in which he's above both his USM and oni form, but i am not quite sure about it.

I like when authors write alternative stories to their original show, showing the audience the consequences of characters' alternative choices. IF routes are smth that really adds more interest to the story

Among other writers, tappei does stand out by writing them. A lot of writers get sick of their creation itself(let alone any uncanon additions) and even rush endings, because they are just burnt out and want to do smth else. Like i remember how oshi no ko ended, even if it was manga, the author definitely wanted to finish it as quickly as possible

but tappei not only keeps writing re zero steadily, but also adds new alternative lore to his nove

There's rumour that it will get extended again to 15 arcs now. As long as the story stays on its high level and doesn't get Csm ending, it's gonna be good
