I really should have asked about this before hitting "confirm" on the booking...

In a few weeks, I am going solo to PV for a week. What is the safety like around there for a 40 year old woman? I'm street smart where I live, but I have never traveled solo to Mexico before and I could use some tips.

I am staying about 10 mins from the airport in what looks like a super touristy area. Anything I should know about?
