Need advice
Hey everyone, I’m looking for advice or recommendations from anyone who’s been through something similar. I’m nearly 2 years post-op from a rhinoplasty and I honestly feel like my nose has structural damage. I have what looks like an inverted V deformity, I can physically feel a crack or split along one side of my bridge, and my breathing has never felt normal since surgery. I barely feel airflow through my nose properly anymore. The inside of my nose is also constantly extremely dry and sore, and sometimes I get this horrible smell in my nose like something is rotting. It’s honestly really concerning and has been affecting me both physically and mentally. I’m looking into a reconstructive revision at this point, potentially with rib grafting or structural rebuilding, and I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with structural collapse, breathing issues after rhinoplasty, inverted V deformity, internal valve collapse, chronic dryness, possible ens or revision rhinoplasty requiring reconstruction. If you had a successful reconstruction/revision, especially a difficult or complex case, I’d really appreciate surgeon recommendations. Please comment or message me with your experience. Thank you 🙏🏼
