Mastitis during stims

Ugh. This is so niche that i doubt anyone has advice. I’m on day 7 of stims (300 menopur) for a TI cycle at home. I’m still nursing my 16 month old. We missed a consistent morning feed yesterday and today I am tender and sore. I iced it for awhile and I took Tylenol but not sure what else I can do. Currently planning on stimming until Friday when I have another monitoring appointment. Fingers crossed I can trigger this weekend but obviously I can’t take Advil. Ideas?

Someone posted recently that they had extra water plants but we didn’t have a pond set up yet! Now we do! If anyone has any plants they can spare I’d love to get this pond going!

I have looked a few times to find a nursery or pond store we could go look at fish and water plants but in the local subs the recommended ones all seemed to out of business. Are there any nurseries left that do koi ponds and supplies where we could go look?

Also would love a couple mosquito fish if anyone has any guidance! I know vector control can supply fish but will they do it for a teeny tiny pot sized pond?

We have new neighbors who are a HUGE upgrade from who we lived with before. 100% improvement. One issue- they have a cat (awesome), the cat goes outside (not awesome). The cat is a great mouser, we were told. Ok, that’s great. We just don’t want her in our yard because of our dog and any risk of harm.

My two toddlers and I have started feeding nuts to a pair of nesting blue jays and an obese squirrel that live directly outside our living room window. We noticed the birds building the nest and then it became this really lovely game of hiding nuts on our fence and then running inside to watch the bird hoard every last bit we put out. For this reason we named him Boomer, because he hoards things lol

Was out in the side yard today and found a pile of feathers. Spoke with the neighbor further down and they found a dismembered bird corpse in their yard the same day.

We do not have predators in our neighborhood. It’s suburbia, people are good about cats being inside, and in six years of living here I’ve never found a dead body or anything outside of a mouse trap.

My kids didn’t see it and I’ll ask the neighbor if their cat also enjoys bird hunting but what can I do to prevent this from happening again? My kids would be heartbroken to know something happened to Boomer or Mrs boomer and also would be super sad to not feed them anymore. It’s been super fun playing with the birds and they’ve learned so quickly to fetch the treats we put out.

But I’m not trying to set up a cat feeder… 😫

The area where this happened is a fully fenced in side yard with a four foot high fence where our kids play and have playground equipment and our bird feeder.
