The stark difference between my initial reaction to Dutch and women I have showed this game to.
I, a male, have shown 3 different women the storyline to this game and all 3 of them immediately didn't like/trust Dutch before the 1st cutscene ended. I, on the other hand, immediately liked and trusted Dutch on my first playthrough. After completing the storyline, one of the things my girlfriend said is that this is a very "man" story. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
My reaction makes me think I would've got up with Dutch too if I met him. I just want to know if it's a "man" thing or a "me" thing. Are we as men more susceptible to smooth talking, plan-having cowboys than women? Or is just me?
