Hopefully a straightforward question. Have a 2015 lariat, 3.5 Eco. It has 27,000 on it and meticulously maintained and not really used too often for heavy towing. It started with a random, hard shift in the lower gears, coming to a stop and mostly around 3rd or 4th gear best defined as a noticeable bump or hard shift. I was just about to drop the fluid and change the filter after clearing the TCM codes and disable adaptive learning with Forscan. So far it seems to be a little better but random hard shifting is still there. I just got a recall notice, Ford is apparently working on a software update tentative for July. My question is should I wait for that software update or should I begin planning to drop the pan and do some valve body work to remedy of the situation? My feeling is a software update's not going to fix the problem specifically as outlined in the technical bulletin and recall, and I don't want to wait even a few more months and risk causing catastrophic damage. Thank you

This post isn't to disparage Wegmans, in fact the store near me is clean and the employees are very helpful and quite friendly. I'm just wondering, and this is coming from someone who's primary responsibility in the household is not grocery shopping. There was a time in maybe the early 2000s where my local Wegmans seemed to be the premier, upscale grocery experience. I walked in a few weeks ago to get a few things and just by memory began gravitating towards the areas that I remembered having the items I was interested in. What I noticed was that the side station with cuts of smoked salmon and other fine cuts of meat on display was replaced by a cheap looking pizza section. The fresh fish and seafood section and meat sections were still there in an opposite corner, but seem to have a little less of a selection. Finally, I was literally looking for English muffins and could not for the life of me find them. I must have walked around for 15 minutes. I haven't been to Wegmans for so long because it seemed way out of my price range at the time, but now that I can afford those things it was kind of a lackluster experience. Feel like I kind of missed the window.
