Was curious how often top-listed POD products on Etsy actually violate platform policy. Picked the #4 result for „cartoon tee" search It had everything: Pro badge, Bestseller tag. So I ran it through a compliance scanner.

Result: 95/100 risk score, 4 findings:

• CRIT (98%) Direct use of „Monsters University" trademark (Pixar/Disney) in title
• CRIT (92%) Likely Pixar/Disney character imagery, no licensing disclosed
• HIGH (88%) No POD disclosure claims „handcrafted" while clearly Bella+Canvas / Gildan / Outlash / Circle blanks
• MED (75%) Keyword stuffing in title

This isn't an obscure cherry-pick. Generic search, top page, „Pro" seller, „Bestseller" tag.

Two questions for sellers here:

1. Anyone running scans on competitor listings in your niche? Is „everyone does it so Etsy doesn't enforce" the actual reality, or is enforcement just slow?
2. If you sell POD on Etsy, do you actively check IP/trademark before listing, or hope and pray?
