I need some help deciding

I’m currently building some Quarrellers which I’m considering giving axes to make then playable as rangers too.

So i’m stuck with these options.

Ranger with Axe, Shield and Quiver
Ranger with Axe and Shield
Quarreller with Shield and Quiver

Any thoughts?

Slayers and Doomseekers

I'm building out my Throng and been considering getting some Slayers and Doomseekers, as they were something I never got back in 2004. But, I'm not sure if I should if there is a chance that GW will update them. Does anyone have any idea (and I know it's not official) if there are or is likely that they will be updated at some point this year?
