Recieved interview call as a student not from TN 🥹

I wrote on 11th April afternoon shift (engineering)
Im genuinely confused as to why I still didn't receive the interview call.....
It's not like I didn't perform well or something cuz I know I wrote well in the exam like I was 99% sure I would get selected. Some of my friends got selected who scored lower than me in JEE
The exam was so easy
I did well in my mains( 97%tile)
Got good results in other relatively tougher entrance exams
aswell
So I was wondering if still there are any hopes like would they select based on mains percentile or do they send the mail late sometimes....
