I'm planning a June trip to Cornwall with my husband and 11-year-old son. We're flying into London on Monday, June 15, staying overnight near Paddington station, then hoping to take the train to Penzance on Tuesday, June 16. We've booked a room in an Inn in the center on Penzance, plan to take bikes and buses around the sites, then take the train back to London on June 20. My questions are...

- How far in advance should I book this train?

- My husband is giant, any seats more comfortable for larger folks?

- My son is active and talkative, as am I. How could I facilitate a social train experience?
