Best way to install blinds
I just bought a house and I am trying to figure out the best way to install blinds on these windows since the shapes are a bit of an issue.
The first picture shows my main setup where there is a decorative wooden frame around the window, but there are not really any flat surfaces on it. Inside that frame is a plastic casing that seems to be part of the actual window unit, so I am assuming I should not drill into that. I am stuck on whether I should try to drill and mount directly into the wooden frame even though it is tiered, or if I should just go above it into the drywall.
The second picture is the same style of window but it is over my kitchen sink where there is no drywall around the top at all. I found some Arlo faux wood blinds on Amazon that I really like, which I included in the third picture, but I am struggling with the logistics of the install. I would really appreciate any advice on how to handle the uneven molding or the lack of space in the kitchen.
