What format are they meant to be? i know they need to be in the specific folder but what format should they be?

Plugged my Y1 into my PC today to upload LRC files (found out how to get/do that here!) and when i opened a folder, windows popped up and said my folder was corrupted and unreadable. In total 4 out of 7 folders and 24 mp3's just gone.

I know there isn't any way to get them back, but is there a chance my SD card is failing or something? I occasionally get warnings on the Y1 that i need to format or whatever but usually a restart or 2 fixes that, this is the first time files are properly disappearing
