As a longtime Omni user, I would like to say
So, like the title says, I got the libernovo omni chair back in November, so it's been about 7 months now. I guess that officially makes me a long term user lol. I know a lot of people are curious about how it holds up over time, so here I am.
Let's talk about how it's looking first. Mine is the gray version. I accidentally got a little oil on it while eating once, but other than that, the surface hasn't yellowed or fading at all. The parts on the back barely show any wear either. I wouldn't say it looks brand new. I was actually expecting some scuffs or wear and tear since I'm always leaning back and moving around but surprisingly, nope.
Another thing people always ask about is whether the foam seat is flatten out after a while. Hmmm I haven't really noticed much of a difference with my eyes. It still feels pretty much the same to me when I sit on it. I never measured how thick the cushion was when I first got the chair though. But I just measured it and the middle of the front edge of my seat cushion is about 10.5 cm thick. If anyone just got a brand new one, maybe let me know how those numbers compare?
I really wanted to talk about is my back pain. Sitting in an office for years gave me some chronic back issues. With my old chair, after like 20 or 30 minutes, my upper bcak and shoulders would already start feeling sore. If I sat longer, it would turn into pretty noticeable pain. Now I can sit for half an hour without getting that same upper back soreness in my omni. After a full day of sitting, I'm not nearly as beat as I used to be. My doctor even told me I'm doing a lot better lately. I know it's not just the chair obviously because I've been working out too, but it definitely helps that I'm comfortable while I work.
BTW, anybody got tips for getting oil stains out of the chair fabric?
