Hey everyone! I’ve been reading a lot of posts from here, and I’m kind of down right now, because a dream of mine is to live in New York or even just visit, but I’m disabled and use a walker. I’ve tried to do research into accessibility, but most of what I’ve found is “accessibility options here are unreliable at best and non-existent at worst” and it’s so disheartening. It makes me sad that living somewhere that makes me happy seems like it just won’t work out for me because of something I didn’t choose and can’t change. All that to say, if New York is a good place for you, you’re lucky, I envy you <3

Hi everyone! I’m not sure if I’m going about this the right way, but I figured here could be a good place to ask. I love singing, and want to make a cover of one of my favorite bands’ songs (The Pretty Reckless is the band) but I don’t play instruments, and I’m curious if anyone who plays guitar could work with me to put together my vocals and your playing into an acoustic type thing. I don’t have recording equipment, however, and am used to just recording using myself using my tablet (though I do have a laptop and a headset with a mic). Advice on how to make this happen would be really appreciated, thanks! <3
